What medication support does Radiant Support provide?
We prompt and remind you to take your medicines and, where it has been assessed and agreed in your care plan, our trained carers can administer them. Every prompt or dose is recorded on our digital care system, and we liaise with your GP and pharmacy when anything changes.
Prioritising Your Health and Safety
Managing several medicines can be overwhelming and, if it goes wrong, dangerous. We take that responsibility seriously. Our carers are trained in safe medication practice and only give the level of support that has been assessed for you.
For many people a prompt and a check is enough, for example taking tablets from a blister pack or dosette box filled by the pharmacy or family. Where more help is needed, administration can be added to your care plan after assessment.

Depending on your assessed needs, support can include:
- Prompts and reminders to take medicines at the right time.
- Administration of tablets, liquids and creams, where assessed.
- Noticing and reporting side effects or changes in health.
- Recording every prompt or dose on our digital care records.
- Liaising with pharmacists about repeat prescriptions and deliveries.
- Working with your GP when doses change.

Carers complete medication training and are observed and signed off as competent before supporting you. Whether you need short-term help after a hospital stay or long-term support for a condition, you get competent, compassionate oversight.
Medication Questions
What is the difference between prompting and administering?
Prompting means reminding you and checking you have taken your medicine yourself. Administering means the carer gives you the medicine. We only administer where it has been assessed and written into your care plan.
Who fills my dosette box?
Usually your pharmacy or a family member. We can talk to your pharmacy about blister packs or deliveries if that would help.
