Testimonials and Case Studies
In the words of the people we support and their families.
What do families say about Radiant Support?
Families describe Radiant Support as caring, punctual and good at communicating. In our July 2026 family survey, the son of a person we support answered yes to all ten of our quality questions on behalf of his mother, and said he would recommend us to friends and relatives.
What People Say
The girls are very good and they take very good care of me. I am very impressed with [my carer] for the excellent care she provides. They keep the place clean and take very good care of me.
My Mum could not do without the help and care of Radiant Support. They make her life so much easier.
Radiant Support do caring very well, they communicate well and are punctual. Any concerns are relayed to myself so I always know how my Mother is feeling.
Case study: helping a married couple stay together at home
A married couple living in their own home in North Northamptonshire wanted to stay there together. Both needed support with daily living. Their son needed confidence that both parents were safe, well looked after and treated with dignity, and that he would hear straight away if anything changed.
What we agreed
We assessed both of them at home, with their son involved, and wrote a care plan for each person built around their routines, preferences and the outcomes that mattered to them: staying at home, staying together, and keeping the family informed.
What we provide
- A regular weekly package of care across the household.
- Personal care, planned around each person's routine and preferences.
- Medication prompting from a dosette box prepared by the family, recorded on the electronic care record at every visit.
- Help keeping the home clean and comfortable.
- A small, consistent team of carers, including the regular carer she names in her own feedback.
- Regular updates to their son, so the family always knows how his mother is feeling, and any concern is passed on the same day.
The outcome
The couple continue to live at home together. In our July 2026 feedback survey, their son answered yes to every one of our ten quality questions, covering:
- Feeling safe with our carers.
- Kindness and care.
- Dignity and privacy.
- Being listened to.
- Punctuality.
- Staff knowledge.
- Needs being met.
- Knowing how to raise a concern.
- Quality of life.
- Whether they would recommend us to friends and relatives.
Their son told us that on the one occasion a carer was running late, the family was told in advance. In her own words, in August 2026, the carers take very good care of her and she is very impressed with the care her regular carer provides.
What this shows commissioners
- Person-centred planning for two people in one household, with the family involved.
- Reliable call times and proactive communication when something changes.
- Safe, recorded medication prompting working alongside the family.
- Feedback gathered directly from the person receiving care, not only from their family.
